Who is responsible?

What I collect and why

  • Orders: your name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, products ordered and payment status. I use these to process your purchase, arrange delivery and deal with order questions. The legal basis is performance of the sales contract and steps you request before purchase. Required checkout fields are needed to complete and deliver your order.
  • Enquiries: the contact details and message you send me. For purchase or wholesale requests, processing is necessary to take the steps you request before a contract. For other messages, my legitimate interest is to respond and manage correspondence.
  • Accounting and disputes: transaction records needed for tax and bookkeeping obligations, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The bases are legal obligations and, for claims, my legitimate interest in protecting the business.
  • Website operation: technical information such as IP address, browser details and server requests may be processed to run the shop and investigate faults or abuse, based on my legitimate interest in maintaining a working, secure website.
  • Optional website and shopping statistics: with your statistics consent, Matomo measures visits, referring websites and campaigns, pages and products viewed, basket activity and purchases. This helps me understand visitor trends and where shoppers leave before completing an order. Matomo runs on this website’s own server. Stored IP addresses are masked, order IDs are anonymised, and I do not send customer names or email addresses to Matomo. The legal basis is consent.
  • Optional order-source information: only with your cookie consent, WooCommerce records the referring link or campaign, entry page, visit timing, device information and page views within the session. If you order, attribution information is saved with the order. This helps me understand which channels lead to sales. It is not anonymous once linked to an order.
I do not currently run a newsletter signup or abandoned-basket reminder emails. The separate abandoned-basket reminder and registration plugin is disabled. Matomo can measure baskets without a recorded purchase when you allow statistics; this does not send you reminder emails. Normal shopping-basket sessions are still needed for the shop to work.

Who receives information?

I host this website on my own server in Spain. WooCommerce manages the shop, and Matomo analytics data stays on this server rather than being sent to Google Analytics or a Matomo cloud service. SEUR receives the delivery and contact details needed to transport your parcel. Depending on your payment choice, PayPal or WooPayments (Automattic, working with Stripe) processes payment and related fraud-prevention information. The shop receives transaction references and payment status; payment providers handle the payment credentials. My email correspondence is handled through Gmail (Google). Relevant information may also be disclosed to tax or other authorities where required by law, and to professional advisers when needed for accounting or a legal claim. These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Their applicable safeguards include adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, as described in their notices: PayPal privacy, Automattic privacy, Stripe privacy and Google transfer safeguards. How long is information kept?

Accounting documents must generally be kept for six years under Spanish commercial law. Relevant order and correspondence records may need to remain longer where a specific legal obligation or unresolved claim requires it. Other enquiries are kept only for as long as needed to handle the matter and any related follow-up. Cookie lifetimes are listed below; your consent choice is remembered for 30 days. Attribution saved with an order is separate from the short-lived browser cookies and can be included in a data-access or deletion request. There is no automatic deletion schedule for order records at present. Individual Matomo visit records are scheduled for automatic deletion once they are older than 180 days. Cleanup is scheduled weekly, so deletion may occur shortly after this period. Aggregated statistical reports are retained to compare longer-term trends.

Your choices and rights

Email me to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, or to object where applicable. I may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time through Cookie Preferences; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can also complain to Spain’s Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

Essential cookies support your basket and remember your privacy choice. Optional statistics cookies are off until you accept them. Rejecting them does not prevent you from shopping. Statistics

With your permission, Matomo measures visits, traffic sources, product views, shopping baskets and purchases on this website. These analytics stay on our own server and help us improve the shop. WooCommerce also saves visit and campaign information with an order to show which channels lead to sales.
